Ya Imam e Zamaan (aj), today we offer our sincere condolences to you for the calamities and tragedies that befell on your grandfather Aba Abdillah Al-Hussain (as). For surely, لایوم کیومك یا أبا عبد الله – there is no day like yours Ya Aba Abdillah. The Day of Ashura tore apart the heavens. The skies cried tears of blood as the Earth, through its blistering winds, screamed in anguish. Every existing being lost itself, its faith and its savior the moment they lost you Ya Imam Hussain (as). Till the Appointed Day, we shall continue to live with this grief, this heaviness in our hearts – that why weren’t we there, present with you when you stood alone on the blood-soaked plains of Karbala as you called out ھل من ناصر ینصرنا- is there anyone there to help me?
People like us can not comprehend the extremity of the massacre of Karbala, the suffering of Imam Hussain (as) and the sacrifice of the Ahlul Bayt (as). Ya Imam (as), if it were not for your patience, your Shi’a would not be who we are today. We would have been lost without you. You have forever ingrained in our hearts the love for the Ahlul Bayt (as) and Islam. You manifest true guidance and absolute trust in Allah’s plan. You are the epitome of resilience. لبیك یا حسین
